Goodbye to All That February 6, 2010

Well after reading The Middle Part of Fortune, I picked up Goodbye to All That. Quite a different style of book. An autobiography rather than a novel but covering the same period of trench warfare from the officer perspective. The Middle Part of Fortune is written from a private soldier’s point of view. Also an excellent book but I thought The Middle Part of Fortune a better story.
