Went to see this play at the Stables Theatre the other day. Very intense. The venue is very small. Holds about 50-100 tops. Was sitting in the front row. Very “in your face” as the production has quite a lot of feeling in it as it. The story has elements of magical realism in it. I enjoyed the dialogue of the domestic cat and the cayote. The Moon who whinges about Shakespeare getting his gender wrong and calling “her” inconstant” was a funny character. But the main action centres on the relationship of the Army wife to her husband. Definitely worth seeing though I thought it a little drawn out in places. I was very tired when I went to see it though due to a horror day at work so fatigue was probably a factor.
