The Joy of Lasertag September 9, 2009

Lasertag is a fabulous invention. You get all the thrills of stalking and murder without actually hurting anyone. Now stalking and murdering one’s offspring is a truly wondrous thing and you have not lived until you have taken the last of your first born’s nine lives during Capture the Flag.

The downside is that the little sumbitch might seek vengance. Lasertag is a great leveller and regrettably primary school kids are remarkably good shots (generally waaaaay better than adults) and hard to spot in the jungle especially when you have shelled out for their camo gear…

My eldest did take the last of my nine lives in a Teams Deathmatch.

Ah well. It was all good fun…

Sigh…
